Adding more ways to public transportation such as trains and more busses is one of the answers, which governments bring on the negotiation table, but as Mrs.Yeoh, argues, “… Without coordination between busses and the ,LRT, this idea can turn out to be the cause of more traffic and not the solution.
Lack of drivers, standard expressways and budget is one of the few barriers, which makes the transportation even harder for the Subang residents.
“The government must look at this problem with a holistic point of view” Zulkarnain says, meaning that the planning should be for all the regions not each place with its own set of rules and regulations.
He adds that the needed funding for public transport should be collected via either taxes and parking fares or tolls and budgets set specifically for such purposes.
Mr.Zulkarnain also points out that the idea of public transportation tends to be misunderstood in general.Spreading out a general information on how to step up and take action may help the people help themselves. Holistic inter-connected planning can change the public point of view towards the transportation.
